Steven Mitchell used to be in property maintenance, in 2013 work was fairly quiet so he thought about training to be an electrician. The course work and costs involved were huge along with ongoing costs on a yearly basis. While Steve was researching he came across a Pat testing course and thought that looked interesting, So rather than going down the electrician route Steve decided to train to be a Pat tester. In 2014 he had a major health scare and decided to give up the property maintenance side of his business and went completely on his own doing pat testing. Since then Steve has never looked back, life is a lot better and much more relaxed. Plus with the benefit of an old business partner Steve still has contacts within the building trade so he still getting people contacting him about Pat Testing queries.
