Introducing SoundCloud Go

Big news! SoundCloud are thrilled to announce the launch of SoundCloud Go their new listener subscription. It’s an exciting step for creators, listeners, and SoundCloud. We’d like to take you through some of the details. SoundCloud Go is the same SoundCloud you’ve known for years taken to the next level offering an expanded catalog of tracks and albums that are new to the platform as well as ad-free, offline listening. We’ll also continue to have the existing free ad-supported listening experience. SoundCloud Go is only available in the U.S. for now, but we’ll be rolling it out to other countries later this year.

SoundCloud Go opens up a new way to build your audience by allowing your fans to save your tracks temporarily for offline listening. The plays you get when someone listens to your tracks offline are counted in your stats just like the plays you get in other ways via SoundCloud. You can choose to exclude tracks from offline listening in the edit menu of any track.

SoundCloud are always working on features that help you grow your fanbase. In recent months, features like Charts and Stations have opened up new paths for people to discover your tracks. they introduced SoundCloud Pulse, a dedicated creator app, to help you stay more connected to your stats and fans. And they also continue to build towards a future where, eventually, everyone will have the opportunity to earn money from their SoundCloud presence via their creator partner program On SoundCloud.

Creators are at the core of everything and an essential part of what makes SoundCloud such a vibrant and unique community of artists and fans.
