Courtney Love Held Hostage In France!

French cab drivers protesting about Uber got surprising attack on Thursday when they clearly struck in a car countaining prominent vocalist Courtney Love. “They’ve trapped our auto and are holding our driver prisoner. They’re beating the autos with metal bats. This is France?? I’m more secure in Baghdad,” she tweeted to her 1.9 million supporters. Her auto’s tires were sliced, she said, and following an hour being “held prisoner,” she “paid a few fellows on cruisers to sneak us out, got pursued by a crowd of cab drivers who tossed rocks, passed two police and they don’t did anything.” Love distributed a photograph of a window spread with egg and took French President François Hollande to undertaking over the episode.

The VIP dramatization spotlights a society conflict in France, where specialists’ occupations are secured and where laws regularly authorize customs, for example, baguette fixings and a boycott on most Sunday shopping. Organizations like Uber, whose drivers are waved to by riders utilizing a cell phone application, speak to an all the more freewheeling industrialist approach. Uber grasps the Silicon Valley “interruption” religion and guarantees 50,000 new employments in Europe, however that message doesn’t resound with today’s cabbies.

On Thursday they arranged what had all the earmarks of being their greatest dissent yet in France. The prior “Operation Escargot” blocked movement between Paris’ two air terminals and the downtown area, yet the new dissent ran past that with blazing tires, a toppled auto, a national extension and uproar police reacting in a few territories. Around 2,800 cab drivers partook, as per French daily paper Le Parisien
