Most ‘Liked’ Page on Facebook Belongs to Singer Shakira
Singer Shakira has the most followed page on Facebook with a staggering 86.66 million ‘likes’ on her official page on the social media site. The ABC News quoted the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer in a statement saying she “cannot believe” she has the most-followed page.
“I always wanted to have a lot of friends but never imagined it would be so many … 86m! So humbled, can’t thank you guys enough for your support. I feel so fortunate to have you. Giant kiss!” the ABC News story said.
The singer has recorded a new number for the official World Cup to be held in Brazil this time. The star, who is dating Spain defender Gerard Piqué, has penned ‘La La La’, a reworked version of new song “Dare”, for this summer’s Brazil event.
After Shakira, Rihanna comes second with over 86.3 million fans on Facebook.
The Colombian singer has 24.5 million followers on Twitter.
