Olly Murs Backs Nicholas McDonald to Win the X Factor
Olly Murs has done everything but the cleaning on The X Factor. So the 29-year-old Essex singer knows a winner when he sees one.
The 2009 series runner-up has also been a presenter on The Xtra Factor and was a guest judge this year with Gary Barlow.
And with his name in the frame to become a full-time judge next year, Olly reckons that Scots teenager Nicholas McDonald has what it takes to win the show.
As well as watching him sing, last month Olly invited Nicholas for a night out playing FIFA 14. Robbie Williams was also a guest and the excited Scot got pictures with both of them.
Olly said: “Nicholas is incredible and has got the most amazing voice.
“I think he’s got a great opportunity to win The X Factor.
I know what the Scots crowd are like, having performed up there and meeting everyone. They are very patriotic.
“I know he’s got fantastic support but he’s also a very talented boy. He’s a good looking lad who has a great voice. He is what The X Factor looks for.”
