Matt Goss Says Band Could Reunite

Bros singer Matt Goss says he and the other band mates “are finally at a place” where they feel they could reunite.

Matt, 44, is currently promoting his fifth solo studio album Life You Imagine which is out in October. He is also still performing at his hugely successful Las Vegas show at Caesars Palace.

Matt said he, twin brother and drummer Luke Goss and bassist Craig Logan are “up for it, finally”.

“I was just with Craig, actually a week ago in LA and it was really good. “I think I can say this without annoying anyone, but I think we’re all actually genuinely up for it finally.”

Bros formed in 1986 and released their first album Push two years later, which went four times platinum in the UK. The band split in 1992.

Craig left the band at 19 but has since returned to the music business, managing the careers of artists such as Pink and Tina Turner.

Luke is now an actor and has appeared in Blade II, and Blood Out with 50 Cent. In 2008, Matt announced that he had spoken to the other members of Bros and in principle they had agreed to reform.

But in September 2010 he said it wouldn’t happen any more.

Matt said: “It really comes down to the right promoter coming in and saying we understand what Bros was.

“Wembley Stadium was your last show, 70,000 people.

“It was a gargantuan show. The lighting and the sound and everything was so massive. That’s a great way to bow out gracefully to 70,000 people.”

He added: “Unless we can do it where it really is, like an extravaganza where it’s a show that people can just go, I love these guys they are bonkers because they love putting on a show, then there’s no point in doing it.”
